Event Description
Hooley For Autism-Lafayette - To benefit Cornerstone Autism Center, West Lafayette.http://cornerstoneautismcenter.com/
A "Hooley" is an Irish music and dance party and this hooley features two great bands, in addition to some great silent auction items.
Headlining the event are one of the biggest names, and best live performers in the Celtic-rock genre, The Elders! They are Irish-fest favorites, nationally-touring, and just plain arse-kickin' Celtic-rock from Kansas City:

The Elders just released their 7th Studio album, "Story Road", so even if you've seen them dozens of times before, you can expect fresh music and always a high-energy performance.
Opening the evening will be up-and-comers, The Fergus Daly Band. Fergus Daly is one of Indiana's best songwriters, and a genuine citizen & son of Ireland.

Fergus Daly's folk-roots-rock music (and Fergus Daly in cameo role) will be featured in the upcoming movie "Jackie and Ryan", starring Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes, reminiscent of the Indie film "Once". It would not be surprising to see the soundtrack nominated for a Grammy or an Oscar. The movie has already been nominated for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Doors open at 6:30pm, Fergus Daly opens at 7:00pm, Elders go on around 8:30pm.
This is a non-smoking event.
